Viking ARK
Viking ARK Foam Concentrate, Fluorine Free (SFFF), Alcohol Resistant
Viking ARK is a multi-purpose alcohol resistant foam concentrate totally free from fluorinated surfactants and polymers. The unique formulation of Viking ARK enables discharged foam to rapidly cover burning surfaces and control or extinguish the fire. It is effective on hydrocarbon fires and, with the presence of special polymers, very effective on polar solvent fires.
Viking ARK is intended for use on class B hydrocarbon fuel fires such as oil, diesel and gasoline as well as polar solvents such as isopropyl alcohol (IPA), acetone, ethanol, and methanol. It is also suitable for class A fires such as wood, paper, textiles etc. Viking ARK is especially suited whenever a fluorine-free alternative with high fire performance is required. Viking ARK is tested for use in sprinkler systems. It is suitable for mobile firefighting applications with aspirating foam discharge devices such as low and medium expansion foam branch pipes and monitors where application rates and technique can be adjusted to the specifics of each incident. Refer to Listing or Approval for further details of approved use combinations.
Use for hydrocarbon or polar solvent risks, low and medium expansion.
Foam concentrates ship in 25 l drums, 200 l barrels or 1,000 l IBC’s.
